Firehouse Sacramento Wedding by Jessica Giblin Photography
This Sacramento modern wedding proves you can elegantly combine contemporary elements with classic looks. There are bridesmaids in black cocktail dresses, a black and white polka-dot wedding cake, and a sleek bridal bouquet with purple calla lilies all making a great style statement against a historical venue full of ambience and charm. The Firehouse Restaurant in old Sacramento was a wonderful traditional contrast for this modern event and provided the perfect atmosphere for the beautiful images created by Jessica Giblin. Built in 1853 during the Gold Rush era, it boasts a reception venue filled with old world memorabilia, rococo chandeliers, twelve-foot ceilings and – the enchanting setting for this pretty Summer affair - a stunning New Orleans’s style courtyard. This gorgeous couple celebrated with guests under a canopy of mulberry and Chinese elm trees, surrounded by ivy-covered brick walls, fountains and twinkling string lights. In essence . . . purely magical!
