Football Fields & Fairy Floss: A Green & Purple Ohio Wedding

The talented Mandy Paige sent us over this unforgettable green and purple Ohio wedding from last summer. From fabulous shoes to stunning green and purple bouquets to fairy floss favours and a football field photo shoot! . . . it is full of modern twists and classic elegance.From the Photographer: Kristen & Jon met while both attending Miami University at Oxford in Ohio, so they are what students and Alumni would call a Miami Merger:) The Wedding took place in Columbus, Ohio and Kristen arranged for some very cool spots for wedding photos prior to the start of their ceremony. It all started with the rooftop first meeting with Kristen & Jon seeing each other for the first time. Then all 20 members of the wedding party got to “live out their dreams” on the Ohio State football field (or the horseshoe) as we had the stadium to ourselves for an hour. Then we headed for a posh spot of downtown called the Arena before heading to the church for the ceremony. Kristen wedding colors were incorporated into every part of her day with alternating Green & Purple bridesmaids dresses, bright flowers, table runners & toppers, and homemade cotton candy as wedding favors. The reception was held at the River Club in Confluence Park with breathtaking city views! This over the top wedding was an affair to remember!
