Everything about this New York city wedding is so incredibly romantic. The small and intimate wedding ceremony in the couple’s native Norwegian, their romantic stroll along East River with incredible views of the Brooklyn Bridge, and the handsome couple’s glamorous yet sophisticated style. It’s perfect proof a small wedding is just as romantic (if not more) as a gala affair. The talented Samantha Lauren was close at hand to perfectly capture their most intimate and beautiful moments, and I have to tell you, we’re over the moon she did.
Photographer Samantha shares: Liv and Magnus are from Norway and found me through Flickr, incidentally, and booked me to shoot their intimate Norwegian ceremony in Manhattan. They told me that they had been together for 12 years and both had just graduated from Medical school. Their trip to New York City was due for marriage, romance, and celebration. I love small intimate confessions of love such as this one! The short ceremony was entirely in Norwegian. Afterwards we were driven by Zak Limo to Pebble Beach underneath the Brooklyn Bridge to take some photos and then to Lincoln Center for a few closing shots. The weather was beautiful and we were given wonderful light under the bridge!
