We immerse ourselves in beautiful wedding inspiration everyday and that includes visiting a myriad of beautiful wedding blogs from all over the world every chance we can. So when wedding writer Bridget Mora offered to share her favourite wedding websites with us, we knew we couldn’t resist comparing notes…
Being a wedding writer myself, I spend a lot of time looking at pictures of weddings online. There are some websites and blogs that are so full of gorgeous ideas and photos of real weddings that I would enjoy looking at them even if weddings were not my profession. And if you are a bride planning a wedding, these sites are jam packed with beautiful pictures of wedding dresses, bridal jewelry, decorating trends, flowers, cakes, and everything else you need to plan a memorable wedding. Take a look at these wonderfully inspirational wedding blogs and websites – I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
Elizabeth Anne Designs: For the ultimate in eye candy, you have just got to spend some time perusing the blog on EAD. It is full of colorful pictures of real weddings, styled wedding shoots, trends, and DIY projects. A searchable gallery makes it easy to find fabulous pictures of reception decor, wedding attire and wedding accessories, bouquets, cakes, and more. Unlike some wedding blogs, there is no specific theme to the type of events that are featured, other than the fact that they are all absolutely gorgeous.
Southern Weddings Magazine: I am positively obsessed with the Southern Weddings Magazine website (iloveswmag.com). It is full of every conceivable Southern wedding detail, from traditions to flowers to family. One of my favorite features is the interview section of each real wedding shown, where they ask the brides questions like did they choose to do a “first look” and what made their wedding Southern. The writing is also fantastic – you feel like you are sitting on the porch sipping lemonade with the ladies, not reading on a computer. If you think that no wedding is complete without sweet tea, red velvet cake, and a monogrammed cornhole set for the reception, you will swoon over Southern Weddings!
Style Me Pretty: No list of the most beautiful wedding websites would be complete without mentioning Style Me Pretty. For those who are unfamiliar with the site, it pretty much covers everything pretty there is to see about weddings. They showcase wedding trends, top vendors, real weddings, and so much more. There are local wedding galleries, DIY projects, and page after page of inspirational photographs. And check out Style Me Pretty on Pinterest for even more fabulousity!
Ruffled Blog: Last but definitely not least, there is Ruffled Blog. It is a beautiful site with a leaning towards vintage inspired, creative, and whimsical weddings. Their galleries of real weddings are categorized by tags like rustic, whimsical, handmade, or global. Ruffled Blog is a fantastic source of inspiration for the bride who loves the handcrafted, hip, retro, and sophisticated, and of course all of the photographs are awe-inspiring. Whenever you are in the mood to see something flat out stunning, just pop on over to Ruffled Blog.
