My mouth was seriously watering when putting together this next round up of S’mores desserts. Whilst s’mores are relatively unknown here in Australia, they have been been a campfire favourite in America and Canada for decades. Their name is a shortened version of ”some more’” which is understandable when you discover this moorish dessert is simply created by stacking together roasted marshmallow and chocolate between two pieces of graham crackers (similar to our digestive biscuits). Not only do I love how decadent they appear, but I also love how they’re a step up from the traditional roasted marshmallows around the campfire.

S’more inspired desserts and are now appearing in many shapes and forms. From gourmet treats to cookies, cakes and cupcakes – practically any sweet treat which marries well with chocolate and marshmallows. So, really there’s no surprise they’ve found they’re way into the wedding arena. I think a gourmet s’mores station, dessert buffet or DIY s’mores favors for your guests to take home, are all fabulous concepts for a rustic inspired wedding. I personally like the idea of a DIY S’mores bar (it’s a bit like having a fondue bar but cuter!). But, if you need any more convincing, just check out this delicious round up of DIY s’mores bars, dessert buffets and favors to get you drooling:
