Jane Austen Novels Inspiration Well known English author Jane Austen is renowned for her historical novels and today many gorgeous films have been produced inspired by her work. I’m delighted to share with you this beautiful vintage wedding shoot inspired by all things Jane Austen. Stylishly photographed by Bit of Ivory Photography it brings to life this elegant moment in time and unequivocally captures the romance in her stories that touches our hearts.Although Jane only had a total of  six published novels they have become true role models for romantic love stories since the early 1800′s. Jane Austen’s life and the Regency era (1811 to 1820) with it’s elegance directly reflected the writings she produced.

From the Photographer: It all started when I announced that I was going to Europe. My UK graphic designer friend Melissa Love asked, “Since you and Meghan do stylized shoots, could you help me plan one here in the UK? We’ll do Jane Austen!” I think my heart stopped!  Jane Austen . . .  In England . . .  Do fish breathe underwater?  My life was made.
